MariHacks is Montreal’s first and largest 24-hour hackathon for CEGEP and High School students. We will bring together over 100 developers and technology enthusiasts to create revolutionary software projects. Meet fellow hackers, learn new technologies, and hone your skills alongside amazing mentors.
Whether you're making your first app or have lots of experience, join us for an amazing day of hacking! We thrives to foster a learning environment and introduce new programmers to hackathons. Apart from creating projects, we love to have fun by singing together, wake up to a yoga session in the morning, and many activities no other hackathons have.
A hackathon is where you turn your crazy ideas into real stuff. It is an event where beginner and experienced hackers gather together to work on innovative solutions to real-world problems. At MariHacks, you can look forward to amazing guest speakers, helpful workshops, skilled mentors and, of course, awesome hacking!
Then you've come to the right place! We will have great workshops for beginners as well as experienced mentors to get your started on your coding journey.
Nothing! We provide meals, drinks, snacks, swag, workspace, and WiFi during the event.
Any High School, CEGEP, and U0 students is eligible to apply!
Teams have a maximum of 4 members. You can select your teammates when you register or you can register individually without specified teammates.
Don't worry! We will have team formation sessions at the beginning of MariHacks so you can find some teammates!
We hope that you can stay up all night with everybody else to code and participate in activities! However, we understand if you want to get some beauty sleep. We will have some yoga mats available to use, but it would be better to bring your own sleeping bags.
